Breaks are good...but time to work!

Wow..it's been awhile since I've posted. Life has been crazy this month. I'm starting to think that this comes with the territory for the lives of artists.

I had my first Open Studio on December 1st. It went really well! I had less visitors than I expected but much more sales than expected! What a great way to end the year. I'm still limping along on updating the website but for those who follow this blog..I'm extending the 20% off of pastels and watercolors until the end of January. I'll eventually put this on the website!

I had two paintings committed to be finished in December (see photos) but other than that..I've been very neglectful of my art business. I'm not too worried though because I've had a nice break!

This past week I've starting getting geared up for 2008. I'm applying to spring art festivals and juried art exhibitions. I'm also finalizing my winter teaching schedule and looking to work in a couple of workshops. Stay tuned for more details!
